I think this is a good way to not only allow your kids to feel the emotion they feel and not hide it,
to then later as an adult have issues with not feeling any negative emotion and hurting themselves  or any other person in any relationship or themselves. Yes it’s not easy and it’s a conscious effort on the parent daily but in the long road it’s better. It may even help in school and not have parent teacher meetings due to behavior issues when you do not see it at home.
